Competency Assessments
Imagine a perspective where it
is clear what you are competent at and what you are not.
Imagine seeing clearly how much of your time goes into the
things that you are really highly competent at, and less of
your time in the areas that are less competencies. If you
can delegate responsibility for those areas to someone whom
it comes naturally for, and focus your attention more on
what you are really gifted at, your effectiveness might be
dramatically affected.
How we go about this:
1) Take a full, accurate assessment of your incompetencies,
your competencies, the areas/skills that you are really
competent at, and where your genius lies.
2) Dedicate some time to exploring your genius.
3) Look honestly at how much of your life energy and
attention you are spending on your incompetencies and begin
delegating the responsibility for these areas.
